The LBA's annual summer outing is planned for August 7, 2014. Come join us for a round of golf on the shores of Lake Cochichewick, a few sets of tennis, or just sit by the pool and connect with other LBA members prior to dinner at the North Andover Country Club.

$40 - LBA Members (in advance)
$45 - spouses and non-members
$30 - Government / legal services / ADAs

Golf:  

$45 per person (nine-hole shotgun start beginning around 3:00pm), plus $20 per cart ride for two or $5 for pull cart. If inclement weather, activities will be moved indoors to the card room and dinner will be indoors.

Each year on Law Day, we celebrate and honor the importance of the law in society with a speech contest and dinner. This year's theme and speech contest topic is "American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters".

Speech Contest - 3:30pm, Fenton Judicial Center: The LBA will host high school students from our communities for the speech contest at 3:30pm at the Fenton Judicial Center in Lawrence.

Law Day Dinner, 5:30pm Salvatore's (Lawrence) - Then we will celebrate with the students and award prizes to the winners at the Law Day Dinner beginning at approximately 5:30pm. This year's dinner will be held at Salvatore's in Lawrence and the featured speaker at the event will be Mayor Daniel Rivera of Lawrence.

The LBA's Annual Spring Dinner will be held on Thursday, April 10th, at the North Andover Country Club. Our guest speaker will be Hank Brennan, who was one of the lawyers representing Whitey Bulger in trial last year. It promises to be a fascinating evening.

We will also be awarding this year's Leadership Award to Dick Consoli for exemplifying the ideals of the legal profession.
