The Leadership Award recognizes an attorney who best exemplifies the ideals of the legal profession.
The Lawrence Bar Association takes time each year to honor a lawyer in the community who serves not only their clients and other constituents, but also generously gives back by donating services, money, and most importantly, time to make their communities a better place. Her work with and for the indigent reflects the highest ideals of the legal profession.” When notified of the award, the highest honor the Lawrence Bar Association can award an attorney, Ms. Casey said: “ I am overwhelmed by this honor.
