The LBA invites you to a special celebration of the law in society with a speech contest and luncheon on Law Day 2016. The speech contest, which will feature high school students from local schools on the topic "Miranda: More than Words", will be followed by a luncheon at Salvatore's in Lawrence. Join for the speech contest, or the luncheon, or both!

10:30am:   Lawrence District Court Speech Contest with local high school students to be held at the Fenton Judicial Center, Courtroom 4, 3rd Floor, 2 Appleton Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts. 

12:30pm:   Buffet Lunch at Salvatore's (Coliseum Room), 354 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts. The LBA welcomes Judge Peter Agnes, Massachusetts Appeals Court, to provide remarks in addition to the announcement of the winner of the speech contest.
