The theme for this year's speech contest is "Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law". Each of the participants will receive a cash award, and the winner of the speech contact will receive a $500 prize.

The guest speaker for this year's event will be Jonas Stundzia who will discuss his own experience with freedom through the lens of his native Lithuania's independence in the early 1990s.

The speech contact will begin at 10:00am in Courtroom 4 of the Fenton Judicial Center, 2 Appleton Street in Lawrence, followed by a buffet lunch at noon in the Coliseum Room at Salvatore's, 354 Merrimack Street in Lawrence. Come for one or both events!
