The Massachusetts Trial Court’s District Court Department, in partnership with the Massachusetts Bar Association and the local county bar associations is holding a series of bench bar gatherings across the state to facilitate increased dialogue between judges, local practitioners and court personnel. 

The inaugural bench bar meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 27 in the Salem District Court from 2:30-4:30 pm. The goal of the bench bar outreach effort is to inform practitioners of recent developments in the District Court and to work together with the bar to improve District Court practices.  We welcome you, your officers and the entire Lawrence Bar Association membership to participate in what promises to be a worthwhile and interesting discussion.

There will be a brief speaking program featuring remarks by District Court Chief Justice Paul Dawley and Chief Justice of the Trial Court Paula Carey.
